Welcome back for day two of the brand audit mini course.

In part one of this mini course, we delved deep into understanding your audience to gain clarity on who they are. This helps refine your overall messaging strategy and, most importantly, your content, which is what we'll be discussing today.

So, let's start with what I call a platform evaluation. Choose the platforms on which you have consistently posted and analyze them. You can select the metrics you want to gauge, such as engagement metrics and views on Instagram, or traffic analytics and popular topics on your blog. Take note of your best content and identify any areas that need updating or refining, such as adding a call to action or pinning graphics.

For each platform, assess its performance and make notes in the provided table in the Notion template. Customize the topics and add your own brand-specific notes. Then, move on to the topics section, where you can see the content you've created based on each topic and how it performs across platforms.

By reviewing your top-performing content, you can identify trends and insights. Ask yourself reflection questions, such as whether your content aligns with your brand voice and messaging strategy, if there are any areas for improvement, and if your content supports your overall business goals and brand objectives.

Completing this brand audit will provide you with a bank of your best content from the past year. Use these findings to update your brand messaging and content strategy moving forward.

Join me tomorrow for day three of the brand audit, where we'll focus on auditing your impact factor.
